Eutelsat y ST: En vivo desde el Strip
Además de haber ofrecido, una vez más, una gran fiesta en el Hotel Paris el lunes por la noche, Eutelsat y ST Engineering iDirect sorprendieron en NAB Show con un par de iniciativas muy destacadas desde sus respectivos stands.
Por un lado, Eutelsat puso en acción su plataforma satelital OneWeb, una constelación de satélites que, junto con equipos de Dejero, permitió realizar una producción de video en vivo desde el Strip de Las Vegas.
Durante los cuatro días de NAB, transmitieron estas imágenes vía satélite, las bajaron en la feria y las mostraron en tiempo real en los televisores de su stand en tres horarios diferentes por día. Una demostración impecable de integración y ejecución.
En paralelo, ambas compañías presentaron sus demostraciones del servicio DVB-NIP para streaming multipantalla vía satélite, destacando nuevamente el potencial de esta tecnología para entregar contenidos en cualquier dispositivo, en cualquier lugar, gracias a la cobertura satelital de Eutelsat y la tecnología de ST.
