Riedel Communications at IBC: Live Production Experience Showcasing Integrated IP Production Workflows

MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App

At IBC 2026, Riedel Communications will bring modern media production to life with the Live Production Experience — a connected demonstration that follows the production chain from image capture and signal transport to live switching, replay, audio processing, monitoring, control, communications, and delivery. Rather than presenting each technology in isolation, Riedel will show how its systems can work together within a coordinated, IP-focused environment to simplify operations and give production teams a more consistent and flexible way to build, run, and evolve their workflows.

At the center of the experience are the SimplyLive Production Suite Flex, now expanded with SMPTE ST 2110-capable server configurations; MediorNet’s hybrid SDI-IP and native ST 2110 capabilities; SAME audio processing; and hi human interface as the overarching control and orchestration layer. Together with ARRI camera technology at the point of image capture, the demonstration makes the end-to-end vision tangible by connecting the full production workflow within one coordinated IP environment.

Beyond the Live Production Experience, Riedel will also present the IBC premieres of the MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App, the DSP-1216HL Commentary Control App, and the StageLink NSA008-A — and unveil other major product news across its intercom and audio lines on the opening day of IBC.

“Modern IP production is not defined by a single product or protocol; it is defined by how effectively every part of the workflow works together,” said Anthony Zuyderhoff, Executive Director Global Sales, Riedel Communications. “At this year’s IBC, we are making that integrated approach tangible — connecting production, media transport, audio, communications, and control in a way that reduces complexity and gives teams the flexibility to shape their workflows around the production.”

MediorNet: IBC Premiere of the HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App

Riedel will present the IBC premiere of the new MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App, expanding native IP capabilities and reinforcing HorizoN’s role in modern ST 2110-based infrastructures. The new app brings multiviewing directly into the MediorNet processing environment, helping production teams combine signal transport, routing, processing, and monitoring within a coordinated infrastructure. It extends Riedel’s established multiviewer approach into native IP environments while maintaining the operational flexibility required for modern live production.

With its modular architecture and app-based concept, MediorNet continues to evolve alongside changing industry standards and production requirements. The portfolio brings together decentralized baseband devices such as MediorNet MicroN UHD, the hybrid MediorNet HorizoN platform, and MediorNet VirtU and FusioN IP solutions to support adaptable workflows across SDI and IP environments.

SimplyLive: Greater Flexibility for ST 2110 Production

Riedel will highlight the continued evolution of the SimplyLive Production Suite Flex, with new Flex server configurations adding SMPTE ST 2110 to the platform’s existing support for SDI, SRT, NDI, and other video workflows. Rather than representing a separate product launch, the expansion broadens deployment choices and allows SimplyLive to fit more directly into ST 2110 production environments and Riedel’s wider IP infrastructure.

Further enhancements bring new capabilities and greater operational flexibility to the SimplyLive software suite. Alongside integration with SKAARHOJ control panels, Riedel will showcase new Venue Gateway options and expanded workflow flexibility for a wider range of live production, replay, review, and contribution requirements.

hi human interface: Unified Control and Orchestration

Riedel’s hi human interface is a vendor-agnostic control and orchestration platform that unifies broadcast and audiovisual production systems into a single operational workflow. Browser-based, platform-independent, and vendor-agnostic, hi enables operators to configure, control, and manage routers, multiviewers, video and audio mixers, software-defined networks (SDNs), and other third-party technologies through a unified interface. Supporting baseband, IP or hybrid infrastructures, hi adapts to different users, operational roles, and production environments.

Within the Live Production Experience, hi demonstrates how integrated control simplifies complex workflows across production, media transport, monitoring, and audio. By bringing disparate systems together into a single operational layer, hi reduces the need to move between multiple applications, enabling faster operation, improved situational awareness, and more efficient live production.
