Fabiano Cardoso, Senior Director of LATAM Sales at Haivision Latam, is in charge of the region that includes the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico and South America.

We talked with him about the acquisition of Aviwest and he said ‘it brought us a portfolio and a very consolidated market segment in terms of mobile solutions, which came to complement our line of products in Haivision, so today we can say that we have solutions for end to end’.

‘Our main objective is based on continuing the sustained growth of our solutions, serving the most diverse types of projects, with a main focus on Remote Production and the transport of high-quality, ultra-low-latency IP signals,’ he said when asked about the work in this 2023.

A well-strengthened team

Cardoso indicated that the Haivision team is currently made up of: Ítalo Marinello, Sales Manager SA, based in Santiago (Chile), ‘who manages our sales operations in South American countries’.

Joao Haidar is the Technical Account Manager for Brazil based in Sao Paulo. Carlos Castro is Camexca Sales Manager, based in Mexico, currently managing sales in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. And finally José Olairson is the Broadcast engineer. More than 5 years ago he joined Haivision and is currently responsible for pre-sales support and project design throughout Latam.

‘We have a highly qualified team covering the entire region. Ítalo brought his years of experience at Aviwest and already fully dominates the legacy Haivision ecosystem’.

‘Camexca clients find in Carlos Castro an excellent point of contact with his experience in sales and solid local alliances. And finally, the clients in Brazil have a consolidated work team for several years now, adding the recognized competence and reputation of João Haidar‘.

‘All of the above with the permanent support of José Olairson, a true guru for his almost 40 years of experience in Broadcast, which allows us to provide complete support from the beginning to the final stage of the project.’

Cardoso also pointed out: ‘Our sales channels have been enhanced with the best of both companies, allowing us to maintain even closer contact with our users due to the expansion of coverage with our partners’.

What the market is looking for

‘The main focus at the demand level continues to be the Broadcast and Enterprise markets. Sales of Makitos, video encoders and SRT Gateways are consolidated as the most robust in the market for point-to-point/Multipoint signal transport’.

‘Aviwest’s mobile solutions are already integrated into the heart of the Haivision portfolio, not only at the branding level, but we have incorporated the SRT protocol that has made us globally recognized into our field units.

Additionally, we have the Haivision Command 360 solution, at the service of large global corporations with a Video Wall system, as well as portable solutions,’ the executive reported.
