At IBC 2025, Eutelsat will showcase how satellite is redefining video contribution and live production workflows. The company will demonstrate in Amsterdam the power of its Eutelsat OneWeb LEO constellation, combined with the reliability of its GEO fleet, to deliver robust, low-latency, global coverage solutions that meet the new demands of the media industry.
The highlight will be a live demo developed in partnership with Dejero, a provider of video and networking solutions. From Eutelsat’s demo vehicle located in the outdoor area (0.A24), interviews and live content will be transmitted several times a day to the exhibition center (Hall 1, Stand 1.A57).
With this demo, visitors will experience the image and audio quality, as well as the minimal latency of the solution, designed for remote coverage requiring stable connectivity even in congested areas or locations without terrestrial infrastructure.
This practical case will demonstrate how satellite-cellular bonding technology ensures signal continuity in high-demand environments, a critical solution for breaking news, live sports, and large-scale events.
Alongside this showcase, Eutelsat will also present its advancements in:
– Satellite streaming with DVB-NIP, enabling direct IP distribution to Smart TVs, tablets, or smartphones without relying on a CDN.
– Next-generation Free-to-Air experiences, integrating audience analytics and targeted advertising to boost monetization of FTA channels.
– Sat.tv Connect, an interactive HbbTV-based application that reinvents the FTA experience with enriched guides, logos, and real-time data.
With its presence in Hall 1, Stand 1.A57, Eutelsat reaffirms its leadership in the convergence of GEO + LEO, delivering concrete solutions for broadcasters and content creators seeking efficiency, resilience, and new ways to reach their audiences.
