The event features the Creative Hub as a new space to facilitate business meetings among producers, streaming platforms, distributors, and IP owners, expanding the traditional scope of licensing.
Licensing Con LatAm 2026, which will take place on August 12th and 13th at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, will unveil one of its main new features with the launch of the Creative Hub, a space designed to boost business in the audiovisual industry at Latin America’s largest licensing event.
The initiative will bring together producers, animation studios, video game developers, distributors, streaming platforms, and licensing agencies with the goal of generating new business opportunities centered on intellectual property. The area will feature eight meeting tables where 14 companies will rotate, including Abragames (along with its partner studios), Belli Studio, Flamma, Immagini, Mandra Filmes, Tubarão Martelo, Valu Studios, Zooparky, and Caninópolis.
The program will include one-on-one meetings, roundtables, and networking activities designed to facilitate connections between content owners, distributors, agencies, and representatives of streaming platforms—one of the key groups the organization aims to attract this year.
In addition, the Creative Hub will offer a free conference program covering topics such as the basics of licensing, retail, Brazilian animation, the creator economy, storytelling, and collaborations between brands and IPs. As a prelude to the event, a Retail Tour for international visitors will take place on August 11.
The addition of the Creative Hub reflects the event’s evolution, which is introducing new spaces to connect key players in content, licensing, and entertainment around concrete business opportunities.
