MediaKind will arrive at IBC2026 highlighting its role in the recent FIFA World Cup 2026, where its technologies supported more than 20 customers across the tournament’s 104 matches, including DAZN.

MediaKind worked alongside DAZN during the tournament, with members of its team onsite at DAZN’s Leeds facilities for the opening match, supporting live streaming operations across multiple markets. DAZN held FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast rights in Spain, Italy and Japan, where it offered all 104 matches live through its platform.

Across the World Cup, services supported by MediaKind transformed the 104 fixtures into 1,738 individual match streams, addressing different formats, regions and delivery requirements. The deployments included low-latency HD, UHD, Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos and ran across four cloud platforms.

MediaKind reported zero downtime throughout the tournament, while the services it supported reached a combined peak of more than 20 million concurrent viewers. The experience will be part of the company’s focus at IBC2026, where it will address the scale, latency and resilience required for major live sporting events.
