Genelec presents its broadcast monitoring range at IBC 2026

Genelec will bring broadcast monitoring solutions to IBC 2026, taking place 11–14 September in Amsterdam. Visitors will be able to experience Genelec´s latest monitoring technologies both indoors in Room 10.E106 (Hall 10) and outdoors aboard the 120dB OB Truck (0.A40), providing a unique opportunity to explore how consistent reference-quality monitoring can be achieved across studio, mobile and live broadcast environments.

At the heart of the indoor demonstration is a powerful 7.1.4 immersive Dolby Atmos system featuring Genelec´s latest 8380A SAM Main monitors alongside The Ones coaxial point source monitors and dual subwoofers. Designed to deliver precise localisation, outstanding clarity and full-range reproduction, the system highlights Genelec´s approach to immersive audio monitoring for modern broadcast, post-production and live production applications.

Genelec will also demonstrate how its UNIO audio monitoring ecosystem enables engineers and content creators to maintain a single trusted reference across locations and workflows. UNIO combines Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) technology, GLM 5 loudspeaker management software, the 9320A Reference Controller and Aural ID 2.0 binaural virtual monitoring technology into one seamless workflow.

Offering flexible connectivity and centralised system control across complex production environments, the UNIO ecosystem now includes the system management devices 9401A for Ravenna and 9402A Dante for AoIP applications enabling seamless integration of Genelec Smart Active Monitoring systems for most demanding broadcast workflows.

Extending the indoor experience into a real-world broadcast setting, the 120dB OB Truck will host a fully operational Dolby Atmos mobile recording and broadcasting facility equipped with Genelec monitoring. Visitors will be able to experience daily demonstrations led by the 120dB production team and Genelec specialists.

Commenting on Genelec‘s presence at IBC 2026, Managing Director Siamäk Naghian says: «Broadcast production continues to evolve rapidly, requiring professionals to work seamlessly between fixed facilities, remote production environments and mobile workflows. What remains constant is the need for an accurate, reliable monitoring reference. At IBC 2026, we are demonstrating how Genelec’s monitoring ecosystem enables professionals to maintain that reference throughout the entire production chain, from studio to OB truck and beyond.»

Genelec will host a daily Happy Hour at 5:00 PM from 11–13 September at Room 10.E106, offering visitors an opportunity to meet the Genelec team and discuss the latest developments in professional monitoring technology.
