IBC is always a good opportunity for us at Accedo to highlight recent developments, meet customers and partners, and get a measure of the latest trends impacting the industry.
While the event is very global for us, there were a few key highlights that are especially pertinent for the Latin America region. Accedo was, as ever, leading the way with a number of game-changing offerings that cater to the evolving needs of the streaming industry. This included various developments aimed at making the future of video more immersive.
Launched earlier this year, Accedo presented its OTT Healthcheck offering, a specialized consultancy offering aimed at assessing the performance and viewing experience of streaming services.
The offering enables Accedo’s customers to tweak their OTT services to improve performance, manage costs, and unlock new routes to monetization. Amidst the increasingly challenging media landscape, it has never been more important to step up your game to really stand out from the streaming crowd.
At this year’s show, Accedo also announced a partnership with Ateme to deliver next-generation in-stadium and venue experiences for live sporting events with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
By combining Ateme’s 5G Media Streaming solution and Accedo Xtend, the companies are able to deliver a game-changing immersive in-stadium experience over 5G. Accedo also won a CSI award for its Xtend solution, which enables rights holders and broadcasters to effortlessly create powerful immersive spatial computing experiences using existing web-based applications.
Accedo also presented the latest versions of its Elevate and Launcher solutions. Accedo Elevate condenses Accedo’s vast experience in OTT UX strategy, design, and engineering into an easy-to-deploy application framework. It combines the quick time to market of ready-made OTT applications with all the customization benefits of bespoke video services.
Accedo Launcher upgrades the standard Android TV interface, providing a tailored, premium experience for Pay TV operators who prioritize branding, customization, and rapid market entry.
At IBC, Accedo announced a partnership with Magnifi to bring AI-powered sports highlights to Launcher. Accedo Launcher customers can now provide end users with AI-powered sports highlights and key moments, in an efficient, and cost-effective way.
With Healthcheck, XR solutions through Xtend, and enhanced versions of Elevate and Launcher, Accedo continues to shape the future of streaming, offering solutions that enhance the viewer’s experience and provide unparalleled value to streaming service providers.
