Clear-Com to Showcase Communications Solutions for Broadcast Workflows at IBC 2026

Clear-Com is returning to IBC 2026 at Stand 10.D29. The company will spotlight the award-winning FreeSpeak Cell beltpack, the Avalon IP Station, updates to Arcadia Central Station, and its broad range of wired, wireless, IP-based, and virtual intercom technologies.

FreeSpeak Cell expands the communications options available to broadcasters working across large venues, remote locations, and geographically distributed productions. Utilizing LTE and 5G cellular infrastructure, the solution helps production teams maintain communications where traditional RF deployment may be challenging, supporting workflows that extend beyond a single venue or facility. Following its launch earlier this year in North America, FreeSpeak Cell is now available in EMEA, providing broadcasters and production teams throughout the region with greater range and capacity for their mission-critical communications.

Avalon addresses the growing need for communications systems that can integrate into modern IP-based broadcast infrastructures. Designed for IP-based broadcast operations, Avalon provides a streamlined approach to deploying communications resources within network environments. The compact 1RU platform supports FreeSpeak wireless systems, HelixNet digital partyline, and V-Series keypanels, helping broadcasters align communications operations with increasingly network-based production requirements.

Updates to Eclipse HX Digital Matrix System running EHX v15 software leverage Clear-Com’s ARC (Access Resource Configuration) technology to help broadcasters efficiently manage and scale intercom resources as production requirements evolve.

Designed for today’s hybrid, distributed, and IP-based broadcast environments, ARC streamlines system configuration by enabling access to intercom ports and resources without requiring additional hardware. New Arcadia Central Station enhancements include native IFB support and compatibility with AES67-enabled user panels, simplifying integration with existing broadcast audio networks, and reducing deployment complexity. EHX v15 further expands system capacity and resource management capabilities, enabling broadcasters to support much larger productions, connect more users and devices, and maintain seamless communications across studios, remote productions, control rooms, and live event operations.

Additionally, attendees will see the FreeSpeak Icon beltpack, the 4-Channel HelixNet beltpack, and virtual intercom offerings including Gen-IC, Agent-IC, and Station-IC. Together, these solutions support on-site, remote, and hybrid production teams, providing broadcasters with communications options that can be deployed across a wide range of production settings and operational requirements.

Broadcast productions continue to place new demands on communications systems, whether teams are working in traditional facilities, at live events, or across distributed productions,” said Dave MacKinnon, Vice President of Product Management at Clear-Com. «At IBC 2026, we’re highlighting technologies that provide broadcasters with the flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements while maintaining the reliable communications that production teams depend on every day.”
