Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its terrestrial transmission portfolio at the NAB Show 2026, emphasizing operational efficiency and native ATSC 3.0 support. The company will introduce R&S®BroadcastShield, a proactive service providing a secure link between transmitters and Rohde & Schwarz service engineers to diagnose and resolve technical issues, often before they occur. A key focus at NAB 2026 will be the potential of ATSC 3.0 and DTV+. These solutions are designed to unlock enhanced viewer experiences, including stunning 4K pictures and immersive media, and enable new applications including Broadcast Positioning System (BPS) which provides a GNSS-independent positioning solution. Broadcasters can also explore new revenue streams through datacasting opportunities and enhanced public safety with resilient emergency alerts.
