Miri Technologies Debuts New Encoder/Decoder and Resilient Internet Upgrades at 2026 NAB Show

Miri Technologies used the 2026 NAB Show as the launch pad for the North American debut of its new V410 live 4K encoder/decoder. The startup also showcased the latest updates to its flagship X510 dual-cellular bonding router and the new miriOS resilient internet foundation for the X510 and third-party routers.

Miri V410: Encoding and Decoding with Outstanding Usability

Designed with an emphasis on the user experience for live streaming and IP production workflows, the Miri V410 combines intuitive control interfaces with flexible format support – from SRT, RTMP and NDI to the emerging OMT (Open Media Transport) protocol – and robust connectivity including built-in Wi-Fi 7. Its elegant, browser-based web interface is complemented by a front-panel LCD screen and configurable buttons for easy on-device control and monitoring. Thoughtful details like a large, customizable tally light ring around the top of the unit and front-panel VU meters further enhance operator convenience, while two-factor authentication bolsters security against all-too-common cyberattacks on media infrastructure.

The V410’s exceptional usability is matched by its versatility. User-configurable either as an encoder or as a decoder, it can encode one live 4K Ultra HD output at 60 frames per second or two simultaneous 2K QHD (2560×1440) channels. As a decoder, it can decode two 4K Ultra HD streams concurrently from most supported source formats. Video inputs and outputs include HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB interfaces with embedded audio support. The V410 can also transcode from NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX2 or NDI HX3 IP inputs to streaming formats and protocols.

This powerful combination of usability and innovation earned the Miri V410 two prestigious accolades: a 2026 NAB Show Product of the Year Award in the Streaming category, and Future’s Best of Show Award presented by TV Tech.

Ryan Brenneman

“The V410’s focus on usability goes beyond just features and formats in an effort to truly improve day-to-day operations for our customers,” said Ryan Brenneman, co-founder and CTO of Miri Technologies. “Users with less technical background appreciate its outstanding ease of use, while media enterprises and experienced producers have been impressed by its integration of the latest technologies and the design nuances that add up to more efficient operation.”

X510 and miriOS: Raising the Bar for Resilient Internet Connectivity

Miri Technologies is best known for enabling resilient internet connectivity anywhere, and continues to innovate in this space.

Powered by Speedify technology, Miri’s flagship X510 dual-cellular bonding router combines multiple internet links – including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G and Starlink – together to withstand network disruptions and improve speeds even in challenging environments. Miri demonstrated feature updates at this year’s NAB Show that further enhance the X510’s performance and robustness, highlighted by the new miriOS software foundation.

Combining a customized OpenWrt-based router operating system with built-in Speedify bonding and failover technology, miriOS provides a powerful platform for fast, fault-tolerant internet connectivity on the X510 as well as third-party routers including the GL.iNet Beryl AX, Spitz AX and Puli AX. The combination of miriOS with GL.iNet routers is ideal for on-the-go internet users who need reliable connectivity but don’t require the robust hardware capabilities or large number of contributing links of the purpose-built Miri X510.

“Our Miri X510 hardware is the ultimate bonding solution for mission-critical professional applications, but there are also many consumers and businesses who want reliable internet but have less extensive hardware needs,” added Brenneman. “miriOS for GL.iNet routers offers those users a cost-effective entry point for our resilient connectivity innovations.”
